The Pace Slows

We Wait for building blocks

Progress over the last two weeks has been much slower than the first few weeks of the project.
Part of the reason was a wait for materials to repair the chimneys. This is ironic as the materials that the chimneys were originally made of were dug from local mines in Heath and Reach and Tottenhoe.
Today it appears that the skills for cutting sandstone and limestone are limited so the materials have been ordered from specialists and we have waited almost a month for delivery.
